On August 23 at the regular scheduled County Commissioners meeting, Palo Pinto County reinstated the burn ban.
Judge Shane Long said after speaking with the county fire chief, it was recommended to reinstate the burn ban.
Commissioners voted unanimously to ban burning in the county until further notice.
