MINERAL WELLS – On September 11, 2021 at approximately 9:55 a. m., Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers investigated a two-vehicle crash on Farm-to-Market (FM) Road 113 south of Millsap in Parker County.

Preliminary investigation indicates a 1946 Indian motorcycle, driven by 68-year-old Ross McCoy of Millsap, was stopped on the should of FM 113 and attempted to turn left from the shoulder onto White Bull Lane.  As the motorcycle turned left, it did so into the path of a 2008 Volvo truck-tractor.  The driver of the Volvo, Devin Clinton, 41, of Millsap, attempted to avoid the motorcycle but was not able to do so.  The Volvo struck the motorcycle causing the motorcycle to catch fire.  McCoy was flown by air ambulance to John Peter Smith hospital in Fort Worth with undisclosed injuries.  Clinton was not injured.
