On July 21–24, Corpus Christi will host the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF) 2022 Summer Games of Texas. Amateur, recreational, and young Olympic hopeful athletes compete in 10 sports featured at various venues throughout the city in a multi-sport arena. The games are estimated to attract over 10,000 athletes!
A few of those athletes come from right here in Palo Pinto County.

TAAF State Swimming Qualifiers
Landen Richards heading to state in four swimming events including the 50 yard butterfly and freestyle, the 100 yard IM, and the 200 yard freestyle.
Jacob Polston placed 3 at regionals to qualify in the 50 yard butterfly.
Alex Ritthaler qualified for state in the 50 yard butterfly and the freestyle.
The 200 yard freestyle relay qualified for state with a team consisting of Coralee Boyd, Rachel Robinson, Izabella Erwin, and Emery Boswell.
Landen Richardson, Klarissa Piñon, Brice Gordon and Tegan Rithaller will compete in the 200 yard freestyle relay.
