Cadence Colwell and Jaylee Newman were named to the “Toast of the Coast” All-Tournament team as the Lady Rams went 3-2 in the 16-team tourney hosted by Rockport-Fulton.

The Lady Rams (6-5) concluded the tourney taking on Class 6A Cypress Ranch, which improved its record to 11-3 with a 41-19 win.
Colwell averaged 9.4 points in the five games for the Lady Rams, leading them to wins in their first three games before falling to Class 5A Kerrville Tivy and Cypress Ranch.
Newman had eight points in Mineral Wells’ second-game win over Southwest Legacy and then tallied 10 against Tivy.
Their first three tourney wins gave the Lady Rams a five-game win streak before Tivy ended the run.

Colwell had seven points against Cypress Ranch. Emery Boswell pulled down five rebounds and Kalhea Samples recorded three shot blocks and two steals.
Fifteen turnovers along with just 7-of-29 shooting inside the arc and 1-of-8 from outside doomed the Lady Rams against the upper-classed Mustangs.
