Clark Gardens Launches Month-Long ‘Grow’ Festival

Clark Gardens Botanical Park will kick off its “Grow @ Clark Gardens” festival this weekend, offering a month of themed activities celebrating nature, art and culture throughout March 2025.

Grow Wild Weekend (March 1-2)

The festival begins with “Grow Wild Weekend” on March 1-2, featuring wildlife encounters, expert gardening presentations and family-friendly activities.

Saturday’s lineup includes a Dallas Zoo Animal Adventures presentation, growing orchids demonstration with expert Dotty Woodson and a petting farm. A pet adoption event with Mineral Wells Animal Shelter will offer opportunities for visitors to find new furry companions.

Sunday will transform into a Dr. Seuss celebration with story times, art sessions and character appearances including Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and Thing 2, and Horton.

Let’s Grow Girls (March 6-9)

“Let’s Grow Girls,” running March 6-9, features a flower arranging class on Thursday evening led by Carol Arneson Elder, co-owner of Famous Water. The $60 class includes garden access, cocktails featuring Crazy Water sparkling water, refreshments and materials to create take-home floral arrangements. Tickets for the flower arranging class can be purchased at zeffy.com.

Grow Together – Holi Festival (March 15-16)

The “Grow Together” Holi Festival on March 15-16 blends horticulture with the traditional Indian spring celebration. For details, visit the event page.

Activities include color throwing sessions throughout the day, a “Festival of Color” dance performance by Nruthya Shakti Dance Academy, and educational presentations on wildflowers, landscaping and water-wise plants.
