PALO PINTO COUNTY — Emergency responders have recovered the body of a 60-year-old man who went into the Brazos River near Rochelle’s Canoe Rental on Saturday.
The recovery effort involved multiple agencies, including Palo Pinto County fire crews from Stations 16 and 5, Texas Game Wardens, Sacred Cross EMS, and Chief 2. A dive team from Graham was brought in to assist with the search.
The incident was treated as a recovery operation from the beginning. Officials have not released the identity of the victim at this time.
