Amparo was born in Sonora, Tx on February 20, 1945. She married Eligio Gonzales on August 18,1962. They moved to Mineral Wells, Tx where they raised three children and lived the remainder of their years.

Amparo was loved by many; she was passionate about her family and friends. She filled many positions in her life from friend to sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Not a day went by where she wasn’t going out of her way to fulfill someone else’s needs. She was a giver more so than a taker and it filled her with joy to know that she could help in anyway. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Amparo never flashed that infectious smile more than when she was in the presence of those she loved.

Amparo was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Eligio Gonzales; and her son Albert Gonzales.
