County Extends Burn Ban

On Monday September 13, County Commissioners voted to keep the burn ban on.
County Fire Chief Gary Lee suggested the court consider leaving it on. “I know temperatures are cooling off but it’s still very dry out there,” he said.
The court followed the chief’s advice and left the ban on. There is no burning allowed in Palo Pinto County until further notice.
