Lera (Lee) Alice (Perry) Turner

The Titus 2 Woman
Lera (Lee) Alice (Perry) Turner was born in Gilliland, TX, on May 17, 1933. The Lord called her home in the early hours of November 24, 2021 at the age of 88. She has lived in Mineral Wells, TX, since 1966. She was born with a loving heart and grew into a beautiful woman, inside and out.
She met a handsome young man named George Turner in Coolidge, AZ. They married January 15, 1956, and celebrated their 65th anniversary January, 2021. When Fort Wolters was still active, she worked sewing uniforms and was requested by many soldiers. Later, she worked at Barrier’s corporation molding plastic items. She was an excellent worker at both places. Everyone loved her because of her lovingkindness. She always studied her Bible and always had sound advice. She loved the Lord and lived the Lord. Being humble, she felt she had never done anything for the Lord, which was so incorrect! She influenced everyone!!
Lee is survived by her husband George; children: Marla Shawn (Turner) Thomas, George Allen Turner, Douglas Wayne Turner, and Keith Austin Turner, along with her siblings Gladys Mainard, Laura Pullum and Lynn Perry, all from Mineral Wells, Tx. Also survived by other family members, including many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren.
I can surely and safely say: Everyone that knew her knows she has a home in Heaven!
She was preceded in death by her parents Eldon Louie Perry and Era (Johnnie) (Beesinger) Perry; her sister Mary Allen; brothers Jake Perry, and Larry Perry.
Graveside services were officiated by Melvin Blalock at Woodland Park Cemetery in Mineral Wells, TX, at 10 AM, Monday, November 29, 2021.
