Melissa Dawn Mahan passed away on February 19, 2022. She was born September 16, 1981, the first-born child of Jerry Smith and Marcelle (Machen) Smith, in Ft Worth.

Melissa was a kind, giving person who loved life and her family including her 3 children Taylor, Austin, and Kaleb; her grandchildren, Hagen and Braylee; her mother, Marcelle; 2 sisters, Melinda and Krislyn and her brother Jerry. She also loved her boyfriend, Jacob. Her father, Jerry Smith preceded her in death.

She leaves a huge hole in our lives, and we love her very much

A double memorial service, for Melissa and her father, will be held 2 p.m., Friday, March 25 at the Mineral Wells Church of God.
