Mourning Queen Elizabeth

While our hearts are saddened, her grit and wisdom no doubt shaped an era and a legacy.

MWAN just happened to be sitting with British Television News Producer John Hammond when the story of Queen Elizabeth’s death broke.

“The queen has been a strength to the nation and a God fearing leader since WW2. The nation will miss her greatly alongside her sincere and honest leadership as well as her quiet but very effective humor,” said Hammond.

Hammond grew up on the other side of the pond, but just 10 months ago became a Texas transplant as he develops Pax180TV.

Hammond is assembling a team of journalists and media producers to bring local, uplifting news, sports and human interest stories to our community through a streaming service. A launch will be happening soon so keep an eye on MWAN’s website for more information.

John Hammond has published 100’s of TV programs and launched 7 TV Networks. He is bringing local programming through a TV Streaming Network to Palo Pinto, Parker and Wise Counties.

MWAN is honored to be a part of this endeavor and looks forward to telling stories from this community as this renaissance of cultural wellness and growth continues.

Change is inevitable, and no one knew that more than Queen Elizabeth.

“She has seen more change and presided over more prime ministers than any other monarch in history,” stated Hammond.

Hammond showed us the following YouTube clip and MWAN thought it was a must share to remind us of the Queen’s humor.
