Halloween Is Over and Local Animal Organizations Want Your Pumpkins

Now that Trick or Treating is completed, many families might be ready to toss their pumpkins in the trash. Instead two local groups are asking for you to donate to them instead.

The Mineral Wells Animal Shelter is collecting pumpkins for pigs Edna and Edgar at a local pig sanctuary. Just drop your pumpkins at the shelter and they will take to the sanctuary.

Also asking for your pumpkins is the local Bat sanctuary known as Bat World.

They are officially accepting pumpkins for the bats. All pumpkins must be uncut and unpainted. Please visit their website Bat World or call (940) 325-3404.
