Law Enforcement Called to Local RV Park For Missing Child, 7 Year Old Girl Located

A heavy presence of law enforcement was noticed at the Eagles Nest RV Park East of Mineral Wells early on Wednesday morning.
State Troopers and Parker County Sheriff’s Deputies were seen speeding to the RV Park that sits just outside of Palo Pinto County.
MWAN spoke with Parker County Chief Deputy Mark Arnett, who was at scene and indicated they had a call come in that stated a 7 year-old-girl was missing from the RV Park, but just before we arrived, the girl had been located. There was no indication of how long she had been missing but officials on scene said they were beginning an investigation.

MWAN noted to Arnett that it was a very heavy presence of law enforcement and agreed that because of the recent incident in Wise County where a young girl was abducted and killed by a delivery driver, officials are extremely cautious of these kinds of calls.
MWAN asked if foul play was involved in this morning’s situation and Arnett indicated an investigation was just beginning and they would follow up when more information was available.
Parker County Sheriff’s Office will issue a statement in a Press Release.
