Lake Mineral Wells State Park – a FAVE for the “outdoorsy”

Just because I own a pajama shirt emblazoned with the word, “indoorsy”, does not mean I’m any less of a fan of Lake Mineral Wells State Park, our local gem of a recreational destination just on the outskirts of Mineral Wells. Whether you are into rock climbing, camping, hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, swimming, geocaching, or even horseback riding (WHEW!), this is the place for you!
Don’t own a boat? You can choose from a variety of rentals including flat-bottoms with trolling motors, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards and rowboats to enjoy 640 acres of lake water. Want to learn to rock climb? Book an instructor through Rock About Climbing Adventures and tell Adam that I sent you!
