City’s Vital Statistics Department Wins Award

If you’ve ever needed to obtain a copy of your birth certificate, you’ve definitely contacted the vital statistics department, which is responsible for maintaining several important documents for the State of Texas, such as birth, death or marriage certificates.

City Manager Dean Sullivan recently announced that the local Vital Statistics registrar for Mineral Wells won an award for their exemplary work in the department. Peggy Clifton and Cindy Scott were honored at the City Council meeting for their work.
