Palo Pinto County residents are required to pay their property taxes by January 31 each year, but this year, because extreme Winter weather shut down the area until February 3, home owners got a few days of reprieve, but it ends today!

Property taxes can be paid by check today February 3 at the County Courthouse in Palo Pinto or at the County Annex drop box in Mineral Wells, without being assessed a late penalty.

Residents have until the end of the business day today, February 3, to avoid the extra fine. You must pay cash/check to avoid the penalty.
