Want to help award $10,000 to a local charity in just one hour? The 100 Women of Palo Pinto County invite you to join them this Sunday at 2 p.m., where your $100 donation could help change the future of a local charitable organization.

The event, at Holiday Hills Country Club, makes charitable giving simple and direct. Every woman who attends brings a $100 donation, hears five-minute presentations from three finalist organizations, and votes for their choice. The winning nonprofit receives all funds that night.

“There’s still time to be part of this amazing afternoon,” said Jill Moore, who organizes the event with Joy Eaton, Kriste Burnett, Barbara Upham and an advisory committee. “Just show up Sunday with your $100 donation – no advance registration needed.”

Now in its fifth year, the event continues to make a significant impact. Last year’s winner, the Mineral Wells Center of Life, joined an impressive list of past recipients including Palo Pinto County Meals on Wheels (2023), CARE (2022), Children’s Alliance (2021), and Mineral Wells Back Pack Buddies (2020).
