MINERAL WELLS, Texas — Local standout Preztynn Harrison was honored Wednesday afternoon as one of Texas’ elite high school football talents, receiving the coveted Whataburger Super Team award.

The presentation ceremony took place at the Mineral Wells Whataburger location, where representatives from Dave Campbell’s Texas Football and Whataburger officially recognized Harrison as one of just 40 athletes statewide to receive this prestigious distinction.

Family members, coaches, teammates, and community supporters gathered to celebrate Harrison’s achievement, which places him among the most accomplished high school football players across all classifications in Texas.

The award acknowledges not only Harrison’s exceptional performance on the field but also represents a significant honor for the Mineral Wells athletic program and community.

Harrison graduated in December and has already joined the football team at Texas Tech. He says he’s adjusting well, working on getting all As in the classroom and working with his new favorite receiver coach on learning the new routes on the field.

Harrison who is back in Mineral Wells for his Spring Break says although he’s made some new friends but what he misses mostly from back home are his friends!
