Mineral Wells Advances to Championship Bracket, Will Face Hardin-Jefferson Friday Morning
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (June 26, 2025) — The Mineral Wells Rams have advanced to the championship bracket at the Texas 7-on-7 Division II State Tournament and will take on Hardin-Jefferson at 8:45 a.m. Friday morning.
Mineral Wells emerged from Thursday’s pool play with a strong showing, finishing among the top teams in their group to secure a spot in the single-elimination championship bracket.
The Rams will now face Hardin-Jefferson, a perennial playoff contender, in an early Friday matchup at Veterans Park in College Station.
Friday’s winner will advance to the quarterfinals, continuing the chase for the Division II state title. The 7-on-7 tournament showcases fast-paced, non-contact football, featuring some of the top high school talent from across Texas
