Rams Looking To Go 3-0

Sports Editor Jerry Hamilton Previews Benbrook
Despite an 0-2 start, the Benbrook Bobcats will bring a strong and talented team to take on the Rams Friday night.
Benbrook, despite a slow start, are a team loaded in talent. Running back Dee Kennedy rushed for 745 yards and nine touchdowns last season. The star running back has 4.5 speed along with Wide Out Roderick Hodge, who caught 15 passes for 293 yards. Hodge had four interceptions on defense. Both are explosive playmakers.
The defensive linebacking duo of Harry Gonzalez and Gage Toberny each recorded over 100 tackles last season. Defensive End Jackson Littlepage is outstanding as a pass rusher.
In district 6-4A, the Bobcats are picked second behind state powerhouse Kennendale. Kickoff is set for 7pm Friday at Ram Stadium and again, the game is a toss up.
