CHRISTMAS EVE IN DOWNTOWN MINERAL WELLS
9:00 pm
Toney Fidler will continue the tradition, started by David Brunswick almost 100 years ago, of playing Silent Night on the trumpet from the south end of Northwest Mountain. Park at Waddy Pharmacy, The Laumdronat, The Senior Center, or the west parking lot of The First Baptist Church for the best places to listen.
9:30 – 10:00 pm
We’ll have a “Community Christmas Eve Service” at the Christmas tree behind Market 76067/Coffee & Cocktails. We’ll read the story of the First Christmas as told in Matthew and Luke and sing traditional Christmas hymnals in between the readings. Adam Hull will play guitar for accompanying music, and we’ll have hot chocolate to keep everyone warm. Please park in the lot behind the County Annex or on the downtown streets – anywhere except in the Christmas tree parking lot.
