Sherry (Grandma Sherry) was a beloved mom, grandmother, sister, cousin, and most of all a child of God. She told me on that final day that she would finally be going to stay with Jesus and my dad. Grandma Sherry was always known for speaking her mind on a variety of topics she never hesitated to say exactly what she thought. My mom had a love for life and people and gave more of herself than she ever asked of others! Grandma Sherry had an affection for older people which lead her to her favorite of all jobs which was working in a nursing home taking care of people. To take care of people is a gift from God and she had it. So I encourage you that if there is someone in your life that you need to spend some time with then do that! Don’t wait this life we live here on earth is just a blink. Sherry finally got to see my dad and Jesus at 9 pm on March 4, 2022, when her body could not keep up anymore she was surrounded by family as she took her last breath and left this life to go to heaven. My mom has no more pain, no more problems breathing, and is dancing with my dad smiling back at all of us! Take solace in knowing that our mom and grandma is in a place that we are all trying to get to Heaven! Goodbye, Mom! I love you!

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Richard Harrison and Glenda Marsden, George Harrison and Lisa Beasley, grandchildren Blake, Brandon, and Russell Harrison and great-grandchildren Tripp and Riley, sister Pattie Morphew, and cousins Linda Hayes, Mary Le Dodson, Ricky Ferguson, Randy and Lou Warren, Roy Lynn Hayes, and many more.

Graveside memorial services will be 2 pm Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Woodland Park Cemetery.
