Jimmy Hill of Mineral Wells Arrested on Alleged Burglary Charges

MINERAL WELLS, TX — On Saturday, March 5, 2022, just shortly before noon, Mineral Wells Police responded to a burglary in progress call in the 600 block of SW 5th Avenue. Upon arrival, officers observed a male exiting the residence and that subject was detained. Officers confirmed with the homeowner that no one was to be inside of the residence or especially removing items from inside. As officers searched the house, a faint noise was heard coming from under the floorboards calling for help. Speaking to the suspect through the floor, officers learned the subject was attempting to hide from police and was stuck. After some time, the suspect was removed from underneath the house and he was placed under arrest and without further incident. Police arrested Kolton Kindle, 34, of Mineral Wells, and Jimmy Hill, 46, also from Mineral Wells on charges stemming from the break in, including Burglary of a Habitation. Kindle was also found to have had an active Parole Violation Warrant. Both were transported to the Palo Pinto County Sheriff’s Office and booked into jail.
