So many kids need BRAVE souls to step up in Palo Pinto County. Will you be BRAVE for them?
Hope(Local), an organization that helps vulnerable children find forever homes, is looking for the BRAVEest people in the community! Are you willing to say “yes” to serving local kids and families in Palo Pinto County that need your help? If so, on December 6th from 6-8pm come to HighRidge Church in Mineral Wells to learn all the different ways you can serve. This is the second year for this event.
“We had several families decide to get licensed for foster care and adoption last year as well as several families sign up to volunteer with local nonprofits that serve vulnerable kids and families. I think we can do even better this year,” said Hope(Local) Executive Director Mark Reidland.

Every child belongs in a family. Our families give us the best chance at being loved, having support, and achieving success. Unfortunately, there are many kids in our community don’t have that opportunity. Together, we can do something about that!
Our community is full of people willing and able to serve vulnerable kids and families. Most just don’t know HOW. BRAVE Recruitment Events help everyone find their fit.
BRAVE events help everyone find their fit and make a difference. Attendees will learn about fostering, adoption, mentoring, and other ways to serve vulnerable kids and families, as well as have an opportunity to meet the organizations and agencies that can help them get started.

Dinner is provided. There is no childcare, but kids are welcome to come. People can register at brave.hopelocal.com. It’s not required, but helps organizers know how much food to bring.
