PK Lake West Side Fire

This is a full blown aerial attack on the west side of Possum Kingdom Lake. According to Mistie Garland, Palo Pinto County Emergency Service Coordinator, this fire has burned 300 acres and has zero containment.
The fire started near FM 1148 and Hawkins Rd and has burned towards the Elm Creek area. Please stay out of the area and let first responders do their job.
A shelter has been set up for evacuees at Westlake Chapel at 701 FM 1148.
