After a sighting in Young County, US Marshall’s Assisting in Hunt of Palo Pinto County Man Considered Dangerous

A manhunt is underway in Young County for Roberto Damian Rodriguez-Garay, a Palo Pinto County man, with multiple charges including assault with a deadly weapon, assault of a family member by impeding breath and abandoning or endangering a child.

He is 30 years old, 5’10” tall, 190 pounds and last seen in the Salem Loop area off of Highway 16 South in Young County. He has black hair and was wearing a straw hat, a grey shirt and blue jeans. He also reportedly has brown eyes and tattoos on his left arm and chest according to his jail listing.

Rodriguez-Garay was booked into the Palo Pinto County Jail on April 14, 2021, on six charges. He was released on a bond amount of $240,025, on July, 7, 2021.

Jail records indicate he was also arrested in 2017 and twice in 2019 on similar charges.

Mineral Wells Police Department would like the community to know that he could be in the area. US Marshall’s are working with local law enforcement in the case. He is considered dangerous and should not be approached. Please call 911 if you see him.
