The Mineral Wells Rams looked to move to 3-0 on their season after the Homecoming game against the Benbrook Bobcats. The first half was a tight match and several mistakes by the Rams kept the Bobcats in the game and tied 14 to 14 at the half.

After naming football player and drum major Jonathan Hammer as Homecoming King and Cheerleader Kaddee Johnson as Homecoming Queen at halftime, the Rams came out fighting the second half and were able to shutout the Bobcats offense. The Rams finished them off 28 to 14 to get another win. Next week they travel to Sanger.
