Pride Cleaners Closing
If you have any clothes you left for dry cleaning at Pride Cleaners in Mineral Wells, you better hustle on over and and pick them up. Like yesterday!!
Tomorrow October 1, they are closing their doors permanently. According to the woman working behind the counter who has been employed there since July, the owner has sold the building and it will be leveled and a new business will be built in it’s space.
She did tell me what the new business would be, but that’s not the kind of source that I deem official, so we have reached out to the city about any future plans. As soon as I get details, I promise to share with everyone. And no, don’t ask for any hints.
The good news, the lady at the counter is not losing her job. She says a Dry Clean Super Center is opening in the Brazos Mall. They also have locations in Weatherford and Hudson Oaks.

MWAN can now confirm the building will indeed be torn down and a Pop Eyes Chicken will be built there according to David Hawes who is in charge of Economic Development for the City.
