Mineral Wells Area News has compiled a list of all the fun activities for Fall. Be mindful of the dates because many events take place prior to Halloween Night. We will update the list as more activities are shared with us. Have fun and be safe!!

Spooky Wells

Halloween Night you can Trick or Treat through downtown Mineral Wells from 5-7 pm for Spooky Wells, a free community event in historic downtown. This is a huge event you won’t want to miss.

It’s also not too late to participate as a vendor or an organization. Please contact Myndi Muncy at (940) 445-7794 or mmuncy@mineralwellstx.gov.

Texas ScareGrounds Haunted House

If getting “jump scared” is your thing, don’t miss the Texas Scaregrounds at Fort Walters. There are four haunted attractions.

Tickets are $35 for all four hauntings but if you bring 5 canned good items per person(which will be donated to the Center of Life food bank) the cost is $30.

If you want to skip to the front of the line, it will cost you $50 a person for a RIP pass. $75 will get you an unlimited pass for all night long.

Texas ScareGrounds is open 7pm to 12am every Friday and Saturday in October, as well as Oct. 30 and Halloween Night from 7-10pm.

Palo Pinto County Annex

Palo Pinto county offices will host a trunk-or-treat event from 5-6:30 pm on October 31 in the parking lot of the old Bank of America Building,

Palo Pinto Nursing Center

The Palo Pinto Nursing Center will have a Trick or Treat Party from 6-8pm at the center, 200 SW 25th Ave.

Palo Pinto Cowboy Church

Bring the family to the Palo Pinto Cowboy Church on Oct. 26 for a fall festival from 6-8 p.m.

Pet Costume Contest

Who doesn’t love a good costume contest?? This one has a bit of a twist. Dress up your favorite animal and bring them to Tractor Supply. All animals welcome(including your livestock) on Saturday October 29 from 4-6pm in their best Halloween costume.

Pumpkin Decorating ContestBoyce Ditto Library

Grab a pumpkin and start decorating it (No Carving) for the Boyce Ditto Library Contest. Pumpkins can be entered up until October 26 at the Library. Winners will be announced on October 28. Contact the library at (940) 328-7880 for more information.
