MWPD Release Statement on Fatal Crash
SINGLE-VEHICLE ACCIDENT LEADS TO A FATALITY
MINERAL WELLS, TEXAS – On January 22, 2023, shortly before 2:00 AM, Mineral Wells Dispatch Center received a call about a vehicle collision in the 3100 Block of MH 379. The caller stated all occupants were out of the vehicle and that the vehicle was on fire.
Mineral Wells Fire and EMS arrived and began their assessment and treatment of the occupants of the vehicle. It was found that two occupants had been ejected from the vehicle. Life-saving efforts were given however, Kieren Davis, 20, of Mineral Wells was pronounced deceased. The other three occupants of the vehicle were transported to area trauma hospitals. Their conditions are unknown at this point.
As with any fatality accident, a full crashinvestigation will be conducted. The Texas Department of Public Safety will be assisting with those efforts.
Davis was a 2020 Mineral Wells High School Graduate.
The driver of the vehicle has been released from a Ft Worth hospital, while two more passengers remain in treatment for their injuries.
