Local Legendary Laundromat Burns

The Mineral Wells Fire Department was called to the 700 block of West Hubbard early this morning for report of a fire inside “The Laumdronat.”

Officials were able to extinguish the flames, but not before half the building burned.

“Upon arrival of the scene there was heavy fire coming from the building. The firefighters on duty made and aggressive offensive attack and contained the fire spread to 50% of the building. The remaining 50% has sustained smoke and heat damage. The investigation is being conducted at this moment and still under investigation,” said MWFD Chief Ryan Dunn.
