House Fire in MW Total Loss

Fortunately a family in the 3100 block of NE 11th St was not home when their house caught fire on June 7th.
According to Mineral Wells Fire Chief Ryan Dunn, the structure fire was a total loss but First Responders were able to save some very important belongings from the blaze.
“The house was a complete loss but we saved six pets and a vehicle,” said Chief Dunn.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but the homeowner, who thanked firefighters and neighbors on social media for saving their animals, indicated the blaze began as an electrical fire.
