Dog Days of Summer
Summer has gone to the dogs!
The City Pool may be closed to patrons for the summer swimming season, but this weekend dog owners are welcome to bring their favorite “Fido” to the pool for the first ever Puppy Plunge.
This Saturday, August 5th from 9am-12pm, Mineral Wells Parks and Recreation will be hosting a new event for local dog lovers.
Bring your dog to the pool for a day of splashing around!! Pre-registration is required and costs $5 per pup and you must pre-register and have current shot records. Call to register at (940) 328-7803 Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.
This event is only for four-legged canine creatures and humans will not be able to swim.
Don’t have a dog? Adopt!! The Mineral Wells Animal Shelter will be having adoptions during this event! Give a pup a fur-ever home!
