He was born Oct. 22, 1947, in St. Louis, MO, the son of Harry David Flegle SR., and Rosalie Bernadette Seymour.

He is survived by his children, Robert Joseph Flegle, David Michael Flegle, Brian John Flegle, Angela Lynn Flegle-Woodruff, Daniel James Flegle, and Elizabeth Ann Flegle-Gilley and husband James Daniel Gilley; grandchildren, David Michael Allison, Johnni Leahann Dominguez, Rachel Nicole Woodruff, Jade Marie Flegle, Mckayla Reece Flegle, and Cassie Lynn Woodruff; and great-grandchildren, Elias Lee Potts, Alliyah Ruth Potts, Camilla Avery Potts, Brynlee Grace MacPherson, Rahamoni Henry Fanimokun, and Caylee Eileen MacPherson on the way. He has a brother Richard Lee Flegle SR., two nieces Karen, and Jennifer, a nephew Richard JR. , and a number of great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Eileen Flegle, and daughter Heather Marie Flegle.
