Rams post third win with Castleberry victory

Three Rams scored in double figures Tuesday to lead Mineral Wells to its third win of the season, 54-44, over the Castleberry Lions.
Forwards Preztynn Harrison and Jordan Fisher scored nine points a piece in the opening quarter and both finished with 13 for the game. Guard Ryan Hunt canned 11 points.

Harrison hit three field goals and three free throws in the first quarter while Fisher drained two threes, a field goal and a free throw to send the Rams into the second period up 20-16.
Seven Rams scored in the second period, including four from Hunt to help the Rams take a 36-27 lead into halftime. Hunt and Jaidun Fisher both hit three-pointers in the third, and Hunt added two more field goals in the fourth.

Deshaun Davis chipped in six points to aid the winning cause. Jaidun Fisher finished with five points and Ben Bullock added four points. Charlie Ramsay got on the score sheet with a basket.
Mineral Wells upped its early season record to 3-8. After losing their first five games, the Rams have recorded wins over Millsap and this past weekend claimed a tournament win over Trinity Valley.
It will be biscuits and basketball Friday morning when the Paradise Panthers and Mineral Wells face off at 8:30 a.m. in the Poolville Tournament.
