Load all your buckaroos into your wagon and head out to Cowboy Christmas on Saturday December 14th because Santa has saddled up and is ready to bring you some holiday cheer this weekend at Lake Mineral Wells State Park,

Join park ranger and cowboy poet, David Owens, around the campfire for an evening of cowboy culture through songs, stories and poems.

Bring the whole family to the Lone Star Amphitheater, which is located inside the park, and experience a cowboy style Christmas from 7 to 8:30pm.

On your way to the amphitheater, be sure to experience the magic of the season at Lake Mineral Wells Trail of Lights event. Drive thru the beautiful State Park enjoying the scenic views enroute to the amphitheater as campsites are aglow with festive decor and Christmas lights.

The Trail of Lights event begins at 6pm and offers hot cocoa and pictures with Santa available at the General Store.

The Trail of Lights/Cowboy Christmas will serve as a fundraiser for the Friends of Lake Mineral Wells State Park Group and entry to the events are FREE by making a donation at the entry gate. The holiday weekend at the park are helping local conservationists support the community and protect precious wildlife.
