PALO PINTO, Texas — The Palo Pinto County Clerk’s Office located inside the Palo Pinto County Courthouse will temporarily close beginning Thursday, Sept. 3, while repairs are made following a flood.

The closure affects only the County Clerk’s courthouse location in Palo Pinto.

During the closure, all filings must be made at the County Clerk’s Mineral Wells Annex office, located at:

100 SE 6th Ave.
Mineral Wells, TX 76067

The County Clerk’s Office anticipates reopening its Palo Pinto courthouse location on Oct. 7, 2026.

Officials thanked residents for their understanding and cooperation while repairs are completed and apologized for any inconvenience caused by the temporary closure.
