Local Little League Teams Play To Advance in World Series Play
The Mineral Wells Little League sent three teams to play in the next round of softball and baseball games to advance towards the World Series tournament.
The MWLL sent two softball teams and a Junior Allstar baseball team to the Sectional Little League Championship held at Rocker B Ranch and Graford High School. Unfortunately the softball teams failed to advance, however, the baseball team has advanced to the championship game and will play for the title on July 3 at 11:30am.
This 13-14 year old Junior team is made of Tristan Ross, Caden Bean, Caden Ramsey, Logan Spieker, Jaxon Cox, Caison Ward, Javon Johnson, William Hollifield, Kevin Cruz, Trey Taylor, Jasper Smethers, and Corey Goen. They are coached by Coby Cox , Wendell Smethers, and Jay Hollifield.
