Koa Lynn Taylor Obituary

Sweet little “Warrior” baby Koa Lynn Taylor was born on February 24, 2024 and peacefully left this earth in his parent’s loving arms on February 27, 2024. Koa was diagnosed with severe Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) at his 22-week anatomy scan and was not a candidate for surgery upon birth. Koa’s name means ‘Warrior’, which is exactly what he was. Even though his little heart was weak, he had a warrior spirit and held on for 84 hours which exceeded the amount of time doctors said was possible.
During his brief time on this earth, Koa was showered with love by his family. He loved laying on Mommy’s chest and bouncing in Daddy’s lap. His favorite toy was a sloth and he loved looking at his big brother who wouldn’t stop kissing him.
Koa is survived by parents Waylon and Katie Taylor of Graford, TX and big brother Cross Taylor of Graford, TX along with both paternal and maternal grandparents and many other family and friends who loved him dearly.
