The Brock Lady Eagles showed why they are the undefeated, top-ranked Class 4A team with a 10-0 blanking of the Mineral Wells Lady Rams.
Aubree Yowell had the lone hit for Mineral Wells off Brock starter Ali Coleman, who fanned eight Lady Rams with no walks in a near-perfect shutout.

The Lady Eagles are now 21-0-2 overall and in firm control of District 6-4A with a 6-0 mark.
Mineral Wells falls to 2-4 in district with four critical games remaining against Brownwood, Glen Rose, Stephenville and Graham. All five teams are left to fight it out for three remaining playoff spots. The Lady Rams are now on the outside looking in. They travel to second-place Brownwood for a Tuesday contest.

Brock got all they needed in the home half of the first, scoring four times with the help of one of the Lady Rams’ three errors in the game.
Hailey McWhorter took the loss for Mineral Wells, surrendering 10 runs (six earned) on 11 hits, while striking out one and walking four.
