Jose Imanol Hernández, 19, beloved son, grandson, brother, cousin, uncle and loyal friend, passed away on May 24, 2025. He was born on January 12, 2006 in Mineral Wells Tx., the son of Estela Hernandez and Plácido Hernandez. He was blessed to be loved by many family and friends.

Jose grew up in Mineral Wells where he attended all schools and was just days away from graduation. His dream was to be a welder after graduation; he was in welding class in high school. Football was one of his favorite sports, he played football for a couple years in high school and was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Jose also had a love for trucks he wanted to turn his truck into a low rider. Jose loved being around his family and his friends, he was a very outgoing person, he was smart, goofy, funny, kind, compassionate, and he was very easy to love.

Survivors include his mother, Estela Hernandez; father, Plácido Hernandez; siblings, Luis Hernandez; Heriberto Hernandez and wife Veronica Alvarez and their children Isabel, Uriel, Gael Hernandez; Juan Hernandez and wife Elizabeth Mares and their children Daniel, Angel, Juan F Jr, Alexiz, Kevin, Emily Hernandez; Cristina Hernandez and husband Alvaro Morales and their children Marco, Bryan Villa, Zamira Hernandez, Lesly Morales; Omar Hernandez and wife Yesenia Mejia and their daughter Zayyra Hernandez.

Visitation/Rosary will be 6:00 pm on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 held at 210 Pasadena Blvd, Mineral Wells. Funeral service will be at 10:30 am Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. The burial will follow at Woodland Park Cemetery, 3600 S Oak Ave, Mineral Wells.
