Body Found Near Cell Tower in Mineral Wells
MINERAL WELLS — Police are investigating after the body of a man was discovered Monday at the base of a cell phone tower near Hood Road in the Fort Wolters Industrial Park.

Chief Tim Denison said the victim, described as a white male in his 30s, had apparently climbed a fence to access the area. Authorities have not determined whether the man fell or left the tower intentionally.
Police were notified after a city employee was alerted to the scene. The Parker County Medical Examiner also responded.
Denison said investigators have little information at this time, and no further details have been released.
