Not even soggy miserable weather could dampen the Christmas spirit in Mineral Wells at last weekend’s Merry Wells. Wet weather forced the festival and entertainment indoors again this year but the performers remained all smiles.

Dancin Etc and The Beat Dance Factory kicked off the festival’s entertainment inside the Crazy Water Plaza with hundreds of parents and friends stacked inside and lining the balconies to watch their tiny dancers. The Wranglerette’s, Travis Cadets, Zee’s Tae Kwondo, Lamar Elementary Kindergartners and Chase Jordan also performed throughout the day.

Holiday performers filled the Crazy Water Plaza with smiles as friends and family enjoyed the show.

Fortunately the rainy drizzle stopped around 3:00pm right as the ice skating rink opened and held off through most of the parade. MWAN spent the day taking photos of the event and all of its greatness.

Kids and adults laced up their skates to try Merry Wells on Ice. The rink is open Thursday-Sunday through Dec 23rd.
Christmas at the Movies was the theme for Merry Wells. Elf, A Christmas Story and Frosty the Snowman were just a few of the movies portrayed on the floats. Winners will be announced soon.

From Tiny Dancers to Ice Skaters, to Parade Watchers(complete with a Wedding Proposal atop a float), so many memories were made at Merry Wells. Thank you Jacy Roach and all of the volunteers whom work tirelessly to make this event happen every year.
