Collision Leaves Motorcyclist Dead After Accident with SUV
Texas Department of Public Safety along with local law enforcement agencies reported a fatality accident that occurred in Mineral Wells this past weekend.
DPS Public Information Officer Sergeant William Lockridge described the accident to Mineral Wells Area News in the following statement:
“On September 22, 2024, a 2003 Motorcycle, driven by Samuel Lee, was traveling northbound on FM 1821. A 2014 GMC Terrain, driven by Jerrel Tomlin was also traveling northbound on FM 1821. As both units neared the intersection of FM 1821 and Ellis White Road, Unit 2 struck Unit 1 causing the driver of Unit 1 to be thrown from the motorcycle, landing in the northbound lane, north of Ellis White Road. Mr. Lee was pronounced deceased on scene by Judge Tisha Bien. The driver of Unit 2 was not injured,” stated Lockridge.
